OP- Did you do the mod deal where you get rid of/over ride the ELD? Im assuming you have with all the power you are ******* with those amps

No, I just keep an eye on my voltage and when it drops suddenly, I just hit the window switch.

Non really. I just didn't feel like paying $500+ for a good double din. Also a tablet can pretty much do everything a head unit can expect play cd's. When I had a cd player, I always used my mp3 player, so it's basically like I'm still using it just with out the cd player.

Mine is just plug into the aux and there's an app called tuned in radio that you can use for fm radio.
