Im trying to take apart the dash to run the power wire through the boot in the firewall - is there any other boot in this year crown vic besides the one on passenger side? I know the dash is just tabbed and you pull - some nuts n bolts - but I dont want to break the tabs.

thanks in advance

drill a hole in the firewall where ever is convenient for you to run your cable. be sure to use a rubber grommet so you dont cut into the casing of the wire. this worked for me, but i dont have a vic. should work the same for you

got power wire ran - didnt drill holes - ran it underbody through the frame - im gonna loom it aswel, just have to find my wire loom. Where should i put the ground for the amp? I was thinking to about puting it on a seatbelt bolt- but the kit her bought has a short ground wire - probably 2ft max. Just curious what you guys think the best grounding spot is in the trunk.

so im a little late but fyi there is a little push through grommet on the drivers side in those cars with nothing going through it that leads right under the dash. You can just pop it out and cut a hole in it for your wire
