Long story short I got a 94 silverado kid tried to do radio hacked everything up I now have his mess all cleaned up and new radio wired, everything works as should except no sound or power to speakers truck has no factory amp all fuses are good and so are grounds as far as I can tell no one seems to have an answer for this and it's really making me mad haven't had this issue on other trucks

If the PO hacked up all the dash wiring I would recommend replacing the factory speaker wire from the headunit to the door speakers.

This is what I'm working with it's still ugly I'll try to run new ones I'm not sure why I'm not getting power. Messing with one now

The root of my issue is the speakers arnt getting powered for whatever reason I have 12v constant power and switched power but the speakers never get power

For one clean up that yellow wire on the black side at least because that is asking for a fire, lol.

And I would buy a new harness for the OEM part of it. You can get those cheap on eBay for like 4-10 bucks shipped. Might have the colors hooked up wrong. Also what head unit and where in WI out of curiosity?

It's some pioneer one that I found in the back of the truck. (It does work when plugged into my other truck) yea the wires look bad right now cuz I've now taken them back apart so many times when I get stuff right I'll get them tidy again. And minong wi up north

Yeah I would get a new OEM replacement harness for it. It will come with much longer wires on it usually around 5-6 inches. Ah then you are up in the Hayward area Northwest Wisconsin. Other side for me near Oconto County.

This one is in Indy and is Metra #71-1858. American International makes one but the Metra one is nicer. The indy location is the closest location to at least to my area.

And then a GWH344 harness for the pioneer radio. Betting a wire isn't hooked up correctly those two parts should fix it right up hopefully since it works in the other vehicle you said.

I'll look into thoes also I'm going to be putting my 12s in it could I just run my speakers thru external amp that I'm gunna need for my subs

If you do a 4 channel and mono block yeah or a 5 channel in order to get the right amount of power to the subwoofers. I would still replace the oem harness at least because that is just bad the way that other person cut it. At least then you would have longer wiring that matches up to the correct colors from the get go. Then you would run a piece of 9 wire stinger wire from the wiring harness that plugs into the oem harness using the stock wiring if you are not going to run that much power to them and it comes with a remote turn on wire as well. I use it when doing a 4 channel and not moving more then 100-150 watts through them as do others and it makes things much easier then running a individual wire to each speaker especially in a truck.
