How are those lithiums working?

The lithiums did fine. I ran one all the way til world finals. We built a few more. We have 2 160ah ones in our blow thru now. On 2 ebay alts and with 4 5500 at .35 each, we drop less than 1v. That build does street beat runs. And we clamp 17k and build does 160

In another build, on the 90ah one I was using, my teamate was able to clamp almost 6k on 1 ebay alt. In his build, he was getting alot of drop tho. He dropped to high 11s, with 6500 @ 0.25. He also did a streetbeat run at 0.25

80a charge is ok i believe for a 200amp alt.

We looked at those. It didnt appear on the surface to be worth the increase in price. Looks like that is for 8 cells only. So youd need more than that. Crating appears to be 2.5c which is common. Higher is better. I *heard* the k2s are 10c, which makes sense. Our 90/100ah is only about as strong as their 40ah or whatever size that is.

If anyone wants a cheap project, try Tenergy cells. They are a nice option because tenergy actually makes charges for their cells. The charger works great and is only like 40$

How much cells would i roughly need? also can you point me to the ones on the tenergy site?

So youll need to make 4 banks, to get your proper voltage.

3.65 x4 = 14.6v

Keep in mind, when you series, voltage will increase, but AH capacity will not. So lets say you find 5ah cells, and want a 50ah battery. You would need 4 banks of 10 cells each. 40 cells total. 5ah x 10 =50ah
