"Back in April 2002, over nine years ago, Pieczenik told the Alex Jones Show that Bin Laden had already been “dead for months,” and that the government was waiting for the most politically expedient time to roll out his corpse. Pieczenik would be in a position to know, having personally met Bin Laden and worked with him during the proxy war against the Soviets in Afghanistan back in the early 80′s.
Pieczenik said that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001, “Not because special forces had killed him, but because as a physician I had known that the CIA physicians had treated him and it was on the intelligence roster that he had marfan syndrome,” adding that the US government knew Bin Laden was dead before they invaded Afghanistan."
Hmmmm.....If this is a legit, scholarly source, then yeah...
Two major concerns over this theory. One, if he truly died all those years ago, it would have been beneficial for Bush' administration to say he was dead. He, and Republicans in general, received a major black eye, for several years, for allowing Bin Laden to escape justice. So I find it hard to believe they knew he was dead, but didnt tell the public, because they were waiting for some politically beneficial time to say he died.
And two, yesterday Al Qaeda officially announced/confirmed Bin Laden died in this weeks raid of the compound in Pakistan. If he didn't die this week, why would they say he did? If he really died years ago, why wouldn't they continue to deny his death for the same reasons they apparently denied it up until now? Saying he died 10 years later was not beneficial for US politics, let alone for both US AND Al Qaeda politics simultaneously. Do I believe that conspiracy theory is possible? Yes. But its likelihood is very very low, imo.
Since I've never demolished a building I can't comment on that.
These pictures of molten steel and apparently cut girders are interesting though.
As far as civilians employed at the towers, not many survived and there have been more than a few survivors that have come out pointing out inconsistancies in the official story.
Just saying, my bullshit detector went off over a lot of the inconsistancies in the official story and some of the more outrageous claims (the "hijacker's" passports floating out of the building and being found on the streets was my favorite).
The troop buildup in the gulf prior to the events, the quick removal of evidence from the scene, and general coverup and failure to investigate things all suggest there's more going on than we're told and whatever it is would be rather embarrasing for some very important people.
As I said before I don't claim to know what happened but I know when I'm being lied to.
Its estimated that between 16,000 and 17,000 people were working in the towers the morning of the attack. In that time between the initial attacks and the subsequent collapse of the towers, thousands of people were evacuating. Contrary to what you might believe, *most* people there that day, survived. More than enough people to make for a realistic group of witnesses to this pre-planned demolition of the building that conspiracists believe existed.
Ive never demolished a building before either, but common sense tells us that as the towers collapse on themselves, there will be explosions and/or breaking glass on levels just below the floors that are currently collapsing. So when looking at a video that appears to show charges being set off on the lower levels as the collapse occurs, its seems obvious (to me) that this is most likely simply from the added pressure of the collapsing structure above crushing the lower levels.
As I said before, in a scene of destruction like occurred at WTC, I would be surprised NOT to find molten metal, cut beams, etc. Finding these things after the fact might lead one to investigate the possibility you are suggesting, but again not one witness Im aware has come forward to suggest anything resembling a demolishing crew was seen on the site previous to the attack on 9/11.
I agree however that things dont all seem to add up perfectly. But then, \in a crisis of this magnitude, its hard to imagine a scenario in which all the puzzle pieces would fit together precisely. The 'fog of war', the 'fog of politics', and the 'fog of classified information' involved in this giant mess would surely cloud many details and seem to create inconsistencies much like we've found at the site. Remember, this is the first time in history that planes were used to attack skyscrapers, the first time in history skyscrapers of this size failed in this manner, and the first time in history the US faced such a dilemma. Again, Im not at all surprised inconsistencies exist. I would be more surprised (and concerned) if all the evidence wrapped up into one nice neat package to feed to the public. THAT is usually when we are being lied to.
