I think it's better than on top. To me looks silly, bottom look better.

thats how it was designed by someone on here.

as i wanted to run 6- 12" and i wanted it to be as loud from both seats.

if it were me I would not do bottom port. Do top port or center or driver side. There's a reason you don't see bottom port WALLS

Yea meters lower from what I've seen. Had a caddy here in town with two Fi blt bottom port on atomic 5k bpillar...

Why not on the bottom?

Or center? Like mine.....and a wall like yours, why not a top port? my guess is that no room and wouldn't fit.

I could do top or bottom.

And I don't meter and don't demo.

Now with a wall with 6 =12" subs you never know.

I just want it to be loud from both seats.

I'm not good with figuring out boxes . what's good or not.

The guy on here spent time helping me on this. So I'm going by what he told me.

but i would like to know when im done.

so should i still do bottom port or top ?

the port will be 5" h x 42" w . inside dia.

i was planing on bracing my roof with more deadener and some 1/2 ply and foam, pl .

im going to seal off the wall from the back ( b-piller wall )

would i still need to brace the roof very well ?

im sure from wall to windshield ill need to.

what about the floor from wall back?

ok.

now i just need to start buying some wood.

im looking at about 12 sheets.

that should take care of the roof, tailgate, side walls, rear floor, and wall.

ill get some deadener, and **** cant thing of the name. its the heavy foam type of stuff you use for doors.

ill put that over the deadener on the floor.

im going to weld some brackets on my tailgate hinges and door hinges. so they dont start sagging from all the wight.

i think ill do the port across the top. as i dont want any db loss.

also came up with a plan to make the port and back wall removable. just incase i need to make box bigger for better subs.

as for the port i can fine tune it.

i cant wait, as im going to finally wall this truck.

i wanted to wall it when i got back into this.

o also going to make my amp rack movable. ill have enough slack in the cables.

i think im going to weld up some square tub, make it a phantom mount.

i will make sure i take a lot of pics.
