I would run them all the way down. Won't hurt anything.

i did not thinks so, but figured i would ask.

does it look right ?

would you change anything ?

i plan on...

rounding over the port

rounding over the back of the port

also do you think ill need to double up the baffle ?

no biggy, just not sure if its needed.

brings back memories. i had an 88 S10 2-door, black/grey, and despite the 2.8L hamster under the hood, i really liked the trunk. despite religious washing and cleaning, it rusted in the same places, to the same extent by 140k mi. i never got a chance to do a system in it.

yup, all these truck have this rust in the same spots. i hate it.

but its looking alot better now. just need to finish it.

at least theres on rust outs now.

but i want to get my interior done as im tired of looking at it. i did paint everything inside so now its all black. exept my seatbelts.

trying to find a black set.

and ya the 2.8 is not the best, but with some internal mods and bolt ons it gets up and goes.

i have redone mine, inside and out ( engine )

ill have to get some pics of the engine. the 1 thing im pissed about is i spent 3 days cleaning/deburring it and i painted in chevy orange but its not all flaking off. looks like shitt.

ya they are..

i was shocked at how heavy these are.

and cone is stiff has hell just like my hdc3 is.

can wait to get my other 2 and get the box done..

these hds2 sub are nice, the only thing i dont like it the stamped baskets but o well. what do you expect for $100 sub..

ok guys a litle update..

i decided im going to wall these subs.

if i can fit 6-12" ill do that.

i have 4-12 now and i have my hdc3 15" im going to sell and pick up 2 more hds212" .

also picked up a new ppi dsp-88r dsp. and ordered and just got the power harness with the 4 rca on it. will make it easier to hook it up.

also looking for 2 more ppi ba7000 amps. as my plan is 1 amp on 2 subs.

ill get some pics.

now ill do what i can when i can and hope my heath holds up. if so i sould get this dont by the end of spring.

thats what im shooting for.

well it looks like ill be doing a wall after all.

wanted one when i got back into car audio.

so wall specs...

6- sq 12" subs on 3- 2k amps.

45" w

38" h

23" d

all double baffle

port - across the bottom ( 5" h x 42" w x 30" L )

also will be using some 2x4's for more bracing on the sides and maybe the back of the wall.

im in the process of doing a sketchup drawing, and ill post it up when im done.

also going to brace my hole roof with more deadener and probably 1/2" ply. but i mite do 2 layers. ill see when i start.

and will be sealing the wall completely off , and ill be doing a nice beauty panel.

going to build a amp rack. not sure what im going to use. always wanted a floating rack.
