8 inch kicker subs

the older l-7 8 is absolutely amazing for an 8......it does get low, and that is always the most important thing i look at in a sub. i was really amazed what they do in a sealed box, but vented boxes are the best. in my experience, there is minimal change in performance for the last 11-12 years they have been out. the newer ones can be bottomed out easily, so be careful...and, if you are thinking about going up to a 10- remember, the 8 really is a 10 by design. i have the 8 installed in my single cab 95 sonoma, by the way, and it shakes the house on a 400 watt pg titanium

yea im in Shade too... And i havent had experience w/ 8s but ive only heard great things about Sundown ImageDynamics and SoundSplinter 8s. From what I hear, they get **** low for an 8" and they sound great doing it. I was gonna scoop me some SA-8s but I think im holding out for the Sundown X-8s. My brother is probably going with 4 SA-8s or E8v.2s... maybe trubass 8s in his chevy quadcab >:p

Kicker Substation 8s by Stillwater take everything I have thrown at them

I've heard l5 8s and hell that even sounded decent, I'd get an SA 8 or a DD 8 if I were you.

However, and l7 8 isn't a bad choice either just the SA is just as much if not less
