I wouldn't say kicker is a "no go", I've heard lots of good things about their l7 8's from a couple different people

don't bash them if you've never used it

8's don't get low at all. bad for daily. just go with a 10.

I currently run Comp 12's and they do great... I was gunna order some 8's for a buddy with a little ranger... I think Kicker is just fine for the average person cuz I would but that all the guys saying dont run them have at one point

I personally haven't run them. However, I have heard them. Just because others have run them, doesn't mean that we should suggest someone else do the same. It's experience and I'd rather tell someone it ***** prior to them spending the money. Will they satisfy the average person? Absolutely, but why should the average person spend an absurd amount of money on Kicker when better can be had for cheaper.

8s don't get low? You're doin it wrong then. I have two sa8s in 30hz box and it makes my mirror unusable.

I'm running a SA-8 right now. Sounds great and gets low.

Would rather have a 10 or 12 if I had room though.

Im not saying they are amazing just sayin I dont mind them and am pretty happy with how much I spent... and an they are not that bad on price, you can get a set of the comps for 100 bucks
