8 gauge for speaker wire?? thats an overkill IMO, u should look up for 10 gauge, thats the biggest ill go for speakers, but if u want 8 gauge, you wont find any for speaker so u gotta use power wire.

I use 4/0 for my speakers, and they sound uber awesome //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif No seriously though dude, the 12 guage karma wire from knukoncepts works great, and it looks good too. It's kinda hard to determine quality in speaker wire, it's either shitty or good. There's not too many inbetweens.

Hey man, go to Ebay. You can by Streetwires or Gold Quest or others for $5 per 20 ft + $5 shipping. I use them for all my wiring. Or you can buy it by 2 ft lengths.

x2, i use the same. might as well go as big as you can, if the subwoofer has the connections for it, why not? it surely isn't going to hurt anything--only good can come from it.

yea, overkill with wire IMO is best, just incase any gain is possible, then u have it taken care of. and i use some crappy -0- gauge i got ripped with off ebay for my speaker wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif its really like 4 gauge, but the insulation says 1/0
