My car is a Plymounth Neon 2000 and the car isnt electronic(no power windows/locks) so yeah, would i have to make my windows/locks power then i can install my alarm? Im a noob when it comes to cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif And if i were to make my windows/locks power then how much would it be, what do i need and can i do it myself?

Door actuators. You can install the alarm and remote start with your car as is, but not the keyless entry.

If you've never done an alarm and you plan on installing one...get someone that knows how to do them to do it with you...or else you'll be sitting there staring at the steering column wondering why the **** you tried to do this...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah im getting a shop to do it but they were charging me $360 with install. I can get it for $190 and see how much they charge to install.

They'll probably give you a higher price. 360 installed on that alarm is a very good price. Most shops around here charge 4-500 to install that alarm- we do them for $500 installed.

I wouldn't even bother installing it yourself. DEI offers a lifetime warranty on the alarm + install. IMHO that's worth a few extra bucks for install labor. Especially considering the headache of the install, and the fact that an alarms performance relies 100% on the install. As snova said; alarm's are a ***** to install. It isn't something you can just plop down and do in a few hours if it's your first time.

Yeah, i was just going to call the shop and see if they will install the door actuators for me if i buy them in ebay for ~$30 for the kit, well have to wait until tommorow then.

And hes doing $360 because he knows me and my boy, ill see if i brag him down to $300. I know if i go in with my dad, my dad will get him to do it for $300, he knows exactly how to brag them. Anyways, i think i will be better off paying a few extra bucks on getting the alarm there and then installed rather than just buy it offline and have some idiot install it for me, ill also ask him about the actuators if he can install that for free if i buy that.
