6x9 speakers

hey all, its been a long time since ive posted here... but i have another question. I have infinity 5.25's in the front, no rear, and a punch z 12" in the back. I have bass blockers on the front infinitys. There is a major lack of midbass and im looking to get some 6x9's in 2 boxes in the rear of the car. My choices are the 3-way pioneer ts-A6960R and the equivelently priced infinity ones. Im looking for pretty loud speakers b/c my infinity front ones arent that loud. Also, i want the most midbass without distortion. so any help would be apreciated, im going to buy these tomorow, so im looking for an answer tonight if possible! thanks

I know that i should get round speakers... but dont feel like building boxes for round speakers and i cant find any prebuilt so keep that in mind....

If you're dead set on 6x9's.....the Infinitys will easily outperform those Pioneers.

what about the loudness though? cus my infinitys arent very loud and im not gonna amp them seperately, at least not for a while. so hows the volume gonna be on both of em?

Neither will be much louder than the other....Infinity's will just sound much better.

ok, well thanks alot, im pretty sure im gonna go with the infinitys, the only thing is that their discontinued, i dont really care about this as i dont see why it would matter. thanks for the help... more suggestions from anyone are welcome and encouraged, lol

Hey since I have the 6x9 infinity speakers in my van maybe I can help. The inifinity 6x9 are good speakers for their price. I used the have the pioneer 6x9 speakers that you were talking about until I blew one of them (don't let people play with your radio knobs) The sound pretty accurate and they are pretty clean without an amp but they still have the potential to amped too. The really don't get crazy loud but they are decent. I bought them since I was looking for a rear fill that wouldn't sound out of place and they really do they trick. ok, that really helps, im almost surely going for the infinitys now... thanks... anything else would help though
