do you always use the recommended air space via the website? I guess you could tweak it - just curious if the .75 and 2.25 is necessary or there is some ratio.....

i normally call the company and talk to a tech and see what they recommend...other than that i look at the specs and what ever idea comes to my head i just put them in bbp6 or winsd and see how it looks on graph

i have 2 x rlp 12s on an orion 2500d very sexy, both faceing towards top port

2 12's in that box....thats small

and rl-p's sound very good in 6th order boxes.....jellyfish had 2 rlp-15's and he was doing 150's easy

u right about that...

i have 2 re se12's in a 4th order and i'm bass racing 134.94 at the dash all windows up..and i was sandbagging cuz i didnt want to bust out the class...lol

so i know i can bass race in the upper 130's

and thats on stock alt and 1 redtop under the hood and 1 orion 1200d

i just have to find my peak freq and go to town...lol

not off the top ..but for a starting point i would tune the rear chamber to 33 or 35hz and the front chamber to 70hz

try that and see how it sounds

Is it possible the 2 12" Rl-p's or Se's in a 6th order with less power could get louder than 2 12" L7s in a ported box with more power even though L7s are more geared for SPL?

mines is tuned to 60hz...but i'm actually going to make my port bigger and tune it to 55hz...so i can peak closser to my cars freq
