600 watts to RL-p?

You can send it 1kw and it will still be o.kUsualy a double in wattage equals 3dB

Thats the general guideline untill you run into power compression.
if you like to push your subs to the limit, then go for it. most people on here do, hense they go through alot of subs. best way to get louder is to buy another sub.

maybe a rlp-15 if you really like the rl-p series. what box do you have the sub in? a new box might just suit your needs. if you are sealed then adding watts might just do it and keep you OK.

Thats much to large for that subwoofer.Cut it down to 1.5ft^3 and the same tuning, it will sound way better
i think he had 1.5 @ 34 before and didn't like it. but yeah, i dunno what to tell ya. i've ran one rl-p off ~700 watts in 1.5 sealed and i thought it was pretty loud for one sub, in my trunk car even. porting it should make it real nice.
