hey guys would a 300amp alt, 3 powermaster d3100 model batteries and 0 guage wiring throughout be enough to support 5500 watts?

x2 on running multiple runs of 1\0....one single one will work...but i've seen people with 10 runs and they get louder even by adding another set...so theres no such thing as overkill

You running another 1/0 for the ground for back batterys or just grounding to frame in back? And did you do the big 3 up front? Im sure you did new wire for pos for the HO alt but you redid grounds too?

i havent done anything yet..im getting everything together i just want to make sure i have enough 0 guage wiring

Well im running 5000 on one run of 1/0 and have no issues but what eves, what do I know

im running 4k daily with a 250amp alt, big 3, 1 run of 0/1 to the back. and a kinetik 2400 and deka g31. voltage drops to 13.9 at idle full tilt for 5 min. driving i never see under 14.3

i run 5kw on a single run of 4 guage...

to 2 d3100's in the back. Never see voltage below 13v

I'm not suggesting that at all. I have a stock bat and alt under the hood so there is hardly any current under there anyway.

W/ a h/o alt you won't need a third d3100 under the hood. Just run something smaller, 1 run of 1/0 to the back, big 3 in 1/0, and some nice clean grounds for the 2 batts in the back.
