Ok, I'm gonna try to make this clear as possible. I'm not a rookie, but have some questions.
In the trunk I have
3000 watt Boss Blade Amp
1500 watt Kicker 12" L7
and just bought a 4000 watt Cerwin Vega 10" Stroker
I have the L7 hooked up and its knocking. I just got the Stroker and hooked it up(by itself obviously). It sounds good at lower volume, but when I turn it up to where I listen to it or on certain notes, sounds like I'm trying to push it too hard or something. I have had the amp push a 4000 watt Audiobahn Immortal 12" before and it was loud! so I know it can handle the wattage and pretty sure that was wired to 2 ohm. I have the Stroker wired right, down to 1 ohm and the amp is 1 ohm stable. Out of the 11 different systems I've had, never had a 10 before, not sounding like anticipated. It wouldn't sound that much different than a 12 would it? Why is the sub responding like that when I turn up the volume? What can I try to do to get this thing knocking:
