3000 watt amp 4000 watt sub

Ok, I'm gonna try to make this clear as possible. I'm not a rookie, but have some questions.

In the trunk I have

3000 watt Boss Blade Amp

1500 watt Kicker 12" L7

and just bought a 4000 watt Cerwin Vega 10" Stroker

I have the L7 hooked up and its knocking. I just got the Stroker and hooked it up(by itself obviously). It sounds good at lower volume, but when I turn it up to where I listen to it or on certain notes, sounds like I'm trying to push it too hard or something. I have had the amp push a 4000 watt Audiobahn Immortal 12" before and it was loud! so I know it can handle the wattage and pretty sure that was wired to 2 ohm. I have the Stroker wired right, down to 1 ohm and the amp is 1 ohm stable. Out of the 11 different systems I've had, never had a 10 before, not sounding like anticipated. It wouldn't sound that much different than a 12 would it? Why is the sub responding like that when I turn up the volume? What can I try to do to get this thing knocking:

video of the sub......what enclosure is it in?

be sure you are wired to the correct resistance

and how did you set the gain?

lol. I have had everything from 2 15s, 3 12s, 2 12s, 1 12, 1 15 and have had no problems hooking them up and figureing things out so I dont consider myslef one, but I know I don't know everything.

How could it only put that much out and sound like that with a 10 when the audiobahn is the same wattage and was ridiculously loud?

The gain is half way. How do I know what the resistence is?

Its in a vent ported bow

statements like those make you sound kind of...rookie.,ish

I'm not touching this one with a 10 foot pole......

don't you know you need a 3000watt sub for a 3000watt amp for it to work together properly.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

regardless of name brand as that might be a factor. I have never had this problem with the same wattage or ohms. I dont care bought name as long as it sounds good.

Since I'm an idiot apparently what is the cheapest high power amp a could use for the Stroker?

well first ur a newb because u have bought a boss amp and really think its a 3000watt amp, you think a kicker L7 is a 1500watt sub, and you have your amp set with gains at halfway as if it was a volume knob, and you dont know what the resistence is even thought you said its at 1ohm you can still be a rookie even thought you have had 20 systems hell i have had 18 systems and i still havent learned everything since iv been on here might want to read up on some things but first get a better amp, check the specs on that box to make sure there right for the sub, and make sure all your wiring is done right...
