I would say that depends on economics. If we offer services in spanish wouldn't that give the indication that we accept you as you are and there is no need for intergration?

Offering some services in Spanish in areas where there is a significant population who hasn't learned English just makes sense. You want your target audience to understand you in certain situations like the ER or the police for example.

It is a hindrance to live here and not speak English, and the majority given the opportunity will learn English eventually. Even if they don't their children certainly will.

I also don't see people speaking another language as a threat to me. Shit i went to school with TONS of Asian kids who barely spoke english... if at all.

Some get real real mad that we don't all know SPanish like thier mother or something. Those are far and few between. I have nothing against the people, just the condition in which they exist in America.

I'm under the assumption that given true equality and access to opportunity everyone is basically capable of the same things. I just don't see the incentive in moving here but not partaking in all that America has to offer given the opportunity.
