5 years at community college?

just got back from the counselors office and seems like i took the wrong classes for the past two years. now i got 3 more years to go and it seems like people could do it in two for junior colleges. engineering major btw.
anyone else?

community college is worthless. i went for 3 years then dropped out. Bunch of noobs that don't know the subject teaching you. I had an engilish major trying to teach adv university physics.

Really not a hell of a lot cheaper, unless you live w/ your parents.. Only thing that it might be good for is the fact that getting into some schools is a good bit easier as a transfer.

I could see where you could take the wrong classes.. maybe if you were planning your schedule around one schools transfers program and changed to another, but thats about it.

Now take into account the QUALITY of teachers found at a community college, and you might be singing a different tune...

Some places are great...most, not so much...several transfer students here at Poly get utterly OWNED when they start taking higher level courses....

Most universities, ESPECIALLY in the sciences (engineering, etc. ) prepare the students by weeding out the weak in support courses....you simply don't get that experience in most community colleges...

don't feel bad. Just take summer school and you should be good. I know people that graduate at a 4 year UNIVERSITY and still ain't got $hit and just live at home with mommy and daddy.

naah i just switched thats why.

went from exotic male modeling to mechanical engineering.

the counselors here at the community colleges rarely are serious. maybe thats one thing too.
