whats needed to run .5 ohm. I got everything right now ran with 1/0 guage, i got a kinetik 1800 up front, stock alt for now. I want to run about 2k watts or so, but i have to go either .5 or 2ohm cause im running 2 dual 2's. is there anything else i should beef up?

Well, make sure the amp is stable at a .5ohm load. Maybe a 1800 in the rear to keep up...

hopefully the amp im lookin at is. im still waiting to hear back from the guy. a few people have said it is, but i cant find any info to confirm. I dont think im gonna have room for another 1800 in back, stupid double cab tundra sux for room. If i built up the alt think i could skip the second 1800?

I "THINK" 2 dual 2 ohms would be 1 ohm and 2 ohm not .5 ohm

nope, 2 dual2's will be .5 or 2ohm

how so? either sub cound be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. then the two could be wired together either 2 ohm or .5 ohm...

It all depeneds, I would get the alty beefed up a bit. Maybe 200amp to be safe. I would still get another battery to keep up though. I dont know how efficient those amsp are. I mean, Its alwasy better to have more current incase you upgrade later....

i think my stock alt is over 200 anyways, like 235 right now...they got a lot of electronics on this truck
