.5 ohm, yes or no?

I've been running .5ohm daily for 7-8 years with AQ and Nendo amps, never had an issue. Electrical is always good in every vehicle. I see NO reason to run 1ohm daily unless it's a baby set up on stock electrical.

Doubt you'll find any amp warrantied for .5ohm though.....

i also wonder too why people say its worse on an amp to run .5 ohms vs 1 ohm when with box rise the amp doesnt see .5 ohms. Some people say you only gain a little well lets say you have a 6k amp that does 6k at 1 ohm and 3k at 2 ohm. If you wire to 1 ohm and you have 3x box rise you will be at about 3 ohms. If you wire to .5 you will be at about 1.5 assuming its 3x box rise. So thats how people get 5k out of a 5k amp is wiring lower. But for the amp sake why is it bad? The scenario i just posted is what im worried about. Spending alot on a 5k and wiring to 1 ohm and seeing only 3k vs 4500 or more
am i right on this or am i wrong?

I highly recommend 1 ohm + daily as it is much more efficient and easier on the amps. If you buy a couple FSD2600s and strap at 2 ohm (1 ohm per amp is what your amps will see) you'll have tons of cheap power that will last forever.

Thats what Im leaning towards 1 ohm final (don't make me second guess my D1 purchase to strap lol). Would def. pick up a pair of those but money doesn't pan out that way at the moment. also literally just watched everyones amp prices go up at least 5 %
