You will NOT see a gain in SPLin a bandpass over a good ported box.
And are you going to assmble it with the subs already installed on that baffle? Dont see a way to remove them or anything once there installed

when I did an install with 4 cubes ported area and 1 cube sealed. The ports were tuned to 40 hz and would play great down to 25hz for some reason 4th order BP's act this way.

If he is going for pure spl the sealed box is a little big, and the subs should be in separate sealed enclosures.

You're right, 2 cubes per works best for 18s sealed for SPL.

In my old truck though with the 4 18s we did 2.25/2.5 per sub and it would play 30 hz like a freak and the subs barely moved.

Would bass race a 161 and change with 8 Autotek 3000s
