4th Order BP for 2 18"s

This is the build for 2 Cascade Designs 18"s. Subs will be here in 3 weeks and then I'll get vids.

Power is from a Fusion FCA4000D running .5 ohm daily. 5500-6000rms daily.

2 kinetik 2400's and a deka 9a31 with a 250amp alt.

THE PLAN:

SUBS ARE SIDE BY SIDEHORIZONTALLY. I COULDNT DRAW THAT WELL THOUGH

5 cubes sealed firing into 9.5 cubes ported at 35hz, port firing forward. Box will be built 100% out of birch ply to cut down on weight and then stained/varnished.

Started out with a battery rack over the left wheel well to get some more volume. Box building will start later today. The final product is stained red oak. I'll get pics of that soon. More build pics today.

Do you have room to have both of the subs on the bottom end so that the top one isn't firing right out the port?

I can imagine that would make a difference if one sub is firing pretty much directly out the port...but idk someone else knows better I'm sure

they are side by side horizontally. couldnt draw that lol

it would still work if it was firing out the port, but his 18s are going to be side by side

what is the benefit of 4th order bandpass over regular ported? are you looking for more musical or loud?

what is the benefit of 4th order bandpass over regular ported? are you looking for more musical or loud?

x2 i've always wondered if the extra work makes it that much better than a regular ported box

Been told its 300% more efficient if done correctly. 300% more efficient on 6000 watts should be nice...
