I have a limit of up to $400 for component set, which ones do you guys recommend? I listen to all types of music and like it loud n clear.

I was thinking 6.5 in the front (components)....for the back im still undecided since i would go with a 6x9 but i have a sub woofer so would another 6.5 (non component set) do the trick for vocals?

The speakers in the back would not be part of the $400 limit. thanks

Bravox Audio CS60K

From a typical listener’s point of view, the Bravox CS60K system sounds very good, with a smooth, warm sound with good clarity and depth. Very critical listeners might note a bit of a dark timbre shift in the upper midrange, predominately most apparent in well-recorded vocals. But this is a minor gripe and again, for the price, the overall sonics of the Bravox CS60K system is one of the best I’ve heard recently.-Garry Springgay

so what would you suggest to have vocals to be heard from all sides of car then??
If you have enough power on your fronts you will not even notice that you do not have any speakers in the rear.

Please be aware that many people in sq believe "I hate rear fill. Unless its a theater the sound belongs in front of you. The exception is the sub, but you can't localize those frequencies anyways

I dont want perfection, just something i can turn up and sound nice and clear....the CD i will use for testing the components would be 'Californiacation' by RHCP (red hot chili peppers) and Metalica. With that said would the above components give the sound i would like?

Yes they all can, some will depend on being located on axis others, off axis, and really which sounds better to you. As far as the turn up and sound clear, that depends on power, your head unit, your tuning ability.
