I have a 04 Impala SS with a pretty large storage compt. in the forward section of the center console. My goal was to increase bass up front and still have it look factory, and not hack the h3ll out of everything.

The point is, It added almost double the mid-bass. I have Pioneer REVs 6.5 in the doors which are deadened and sealed.

Uh.. why shoud he gap the mid/subbass 10hz? You won't get as many spikes with mid/subbass as you will with highs. 80/80 with the same slope would be good IMO, however in my experiences the rev's can play effectively down toe 50hz.

under laps can be used and sometimes work well between the sub and mid-bass. with 12db slopes a lil under lap can be good.

i have my sub at 63hz/12db and my fronts at 80hz/12db. sounds best that way in my ride.
