4 ohm and 8 ohm sub together?

is there any way i can hook up an 8 ohm sub and a 4 ohm together. They are the exact same sub cept for the ohms. If i ran them off one amplifier would it be a 3ohm load or what? would one sound different than the other? Thanks guys

it'll be ok, im just not sure what the impendence would be !

if you do a parallel connection.. it will work.. if you do a series connection.. it won't..

Thanks guys, does anyone know what the impedence will be? was i right around about 3 ohms?
