4 Assassin 8's Build

was thinking a really thin piece of plexi...... about 1/8"
and no not stealing cuz mine is gona get louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

btw i ordered 4 of the sa-8's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Thats what i did with mine

IMAGE_048.jpg

Painted the underside with red spray paint. then used 4 lil screws to hold it in place

And you should let me borrow 2 of those SA-8s to let me test them out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the flare on the end of an aero port compared to a straight round port is of the most minimal effect. yes with a flared aero the port will be longer to achieve the same tuning as a straight aero but by only the most minimal amount
lulz. that is where all of the efficiency comes from...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i did not say anything about efficiency.... yes they have a less chance of port noise due to this but compared to a straight port with no flare there is littl change compared to the length you need for the same tuning.

who built that box? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

yes but previously you made a comment as to your lack of port area being mediated by the fact that round ports need half the SA of slots. which is not true. the efficiency, and resulting reduction in necessary SA, comes from the flare.

This.

I had commented about that in a post I made earlier but you didn't get it I guess.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif indeed the flare does help which im not arguing against bro. But as the port is round and not square makes the air easier to escape the box compared to a square or rectangular shape. u get what im saying? Im sure you do, but simply because there is no flare does not mean that one should have the same amount of port area as a SA slot port. need i say more?

a round port has a minimal at best efficiency advantage over slot. no where near needing half the SA.

i do not in any way get what you are saying. it has everything to do with air entering and exiting the port repeatedly.

i guess you could say more if you would like, or you could just agree with me on this highly discussed topic about the basic laws of physics.

The flares lower port velocity, which is how you can get away with less port area when using flared round ports, or true aero ports/precision ports.
