I'm not entirely sure, but I think i'll be purchasing two Alpine type r 1222D subwoofers:

However, i'm not sure of what amp I should get. How many watts? channels? i'm quite confused. Any link's to an amp that will pair with the subs from the SAME SITE would be much appreciated!

I see you've listed a 2000W RMS amp. Wouldn't that be overkill? Do i really need that much power? :/

you could get dual 1 ohm ones so that you can wire them down to 1 ohm. get more power for the price running at one ohm and may save some money
