Would look nice with some plexi on the top too, dude. Black carpet, red paint and plexi = teh secks...

I suggest you put acrylic instead of the paint. It gives it a much cleaner look to it.

You could paint the underside and have a beautiful finish.

It looks nice as is, but adding plexi would make it pop.

EDIT: Adding some piping in the crack between the plexi and mdf would = WIN!

meh not a fan of piping bro.... i might add a sheet of plexi with small i mean TINY led's i have....... bright white in which can easily have a little slot bored out with a drill and placed into the 1/8 sheet
