I'm building a box for my original two re8's. I have 20 square inches of port for my 1.1ft^3 box. I bet that first box was highly limited.

Nice. I have two REX8's in my truck sealed cuz I find port designs a lil confusing. I need a design for a pair of 8's under my rear seat!!!

You dont think the front should have been double baffled thou?

Im doubled on (2) 8w7's, maybe overkill but I would think 4 would need the extra support, I could be wrong...

The front is double baffled...subs only needed to be recessed about 9/16" iirc so they sit on 15/16" thick mdf and the 9/16 provides support also. These subs aren't very heavy (or strong) and are only getting 1200w so it should be plenty strong in this case.

Great looking box. I am thinking about recessng mine. Its already double baffled but not recesed. I would be tripple baffled. lol. We will see. I really like the way this turned out though.
