ok i have a Chevy Surburban and i plan on puttin 4 18 solo x subs in it about 2-3 weeks from now and i wanna know should i get 2 kicker 2500.1 amps for each 18 and plz if you are not going 2 help dont reply i am very serious i have $15,000 to spend on this and i can get all 4 subs for $2000 which means im payin $500 a sub cuz i got connects so plz tell me what is the best route to go and if you know what, where and who makes a 350 to 400 amp alternators i plan on running dual alts and getting about 8 yellow tops 2 50 farad caps and using the rest of the cash for dynamat and wiring??????? Please Please Help

you need cement man, not dynamat

and you dont need 8 batteries, or any caps

you need 4 batteries, if you're doing SPL, you wont be able to drrain 4 batteries in 5 minutes with the car running

you'd probably get better spl with 2 subs than 4, those htings need like 15 cubes a piece.

2 KX2500 per sub is a great choice you'll be feeding those subs with at least 6Krms each

I think that you should buy the 8 bateries and the caps... that's a big setup you're goin to be runnin'

Curious.. you planning to remove the back seat (or semi-permanently lay it down) for the enclosure(s)? Those Solo X's need maaaad cabinet volume.

Optima red-Tops "dump" faster than yellows if you need the current. There are other batts out there that better suit a psychotic system like that though. With the right ones, you can cut your count (and weight/space) by almost half. Too rich for my blood though. The quote for my system caused a black-out that only my wife remembers *heh*.

Have you owned any previous systems before? Four 18" Solo X? Do you know how many cubic ft is suggested for just one? I doubt you will have a decent amount of room in a Surburban. 8 batteries? If this is for SPL only you have already started off wrong by your vehicle...you should have a van with 1 seat (drivers) if you want just a baddass SPL setup. Now please do us all a favor and answer this: IS THIS JUST FOR SPL OR DAILY DRIVING TOO?
