4 12 inch sub box ???

ok i have a small car which means i have a small trunk. i want to be able to get 4 12's in there would this box work here is its size.

LENGHT 30 INCHES

BOTTOM WIDTH 25 1/2 INCHES

TOP WIDTH 22 3/4 INCHES

HEIGHT 13 INCHES

ENCLOSURE HAS 1.13 CUBIC FEET

my dual 12 ported box is biger its just the 4 12 box is like 8 inchs deeper . And allso would the cubic feet work the box is not ported?

hahahha me to . i just want this thing to fit right in my car i dont want it to be to small or to big i wish it was ported each sub has its owns chamber so i like that but it would be 1.13 cube feet

technically yes you could fit 4 of those sealed in there (airspace wise), you just gotta figure out how you want them mounted. maybe 2 on top 2 facing back? or figure out how to put them all facing up?

btw i put it in the calculator here http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm and if i did everything right i got 4.291 feet^3... thats with 3/4" wood as well. sub displacement would mean you'd get a little under 4 cubes depending on what subs (different displacements). so some poly-fil and you should be alright.

nice now i gota upgrade my stock wires i hope i dont need to get a ho alt man i hope not that would **** i dont mind a better battary. ill keep every one up today ones i get my wires right it rained today and i was at work .

well i was thinking abou this amp BXI1606D BRUTUS 1600-Watt x 1 RMS @ 1-Ohm but some guys are sayin the 1800. And i want kicker comps but i cant find dual 2 ohm 400 rms subs that are not to much. so im looking for the subs. im not gona get to ahead of my self i gota see what my volt is and all that good stuff so i got the box and i got the amp well at least the company i just gota find that model the 1800

its is a 1999 for escort se i got it not to long ago i gota do a wire up grade and take it from there. i wanted to use my subs just get to more . there 250 rms mtx jackhammers. i have my amp sending 300 rms to each i dont have my amp bridged . it gets to hot and my volt drop is bad right now i dont wana kill my battery.

oh so there amps are over rated by alot then . well i gota see if i might as well do a ho alt at least 150 amps i got 400 lets see how that goes i been thinking about it all day its just im trying to do it with out the ho alt at this time cuz if i get the alt then i gota get the battery and that would leave me with no money for a box or subs or even a amp. its a hard call for me.

If I were you I would either get a good 1000 wrms amp and run 2 good 10's or 12's in a specified ported box. If you are going to get a HO alt and another batt I wouldnt waste my time with a bxi amp. just an opinion.

i more or less have to see what i can run with my big 3 upgrade its just i dont wana do the big 3 get the stuff and bam back to volt drops big time. i guess i could get a better amp and 2 good 12s i have a good box i want to try to keep it but i really wana do 4 12s imkinda set on that. its just i need the power for it
