3k, 7cuft, what 3-4 budget 10s or 12s?

I'm getting out of the single sub phase for a while, and gonna run 3-4 10s or 12s in my Cadi now. I currently have a Soundstream XXX15 on my AP3000D and its loud, but I think I can get louder.

I was gonna do 6 of the budget Hifonics HFI 12s sealed, but I think 3-4 10s or 12s ported will get as loud or louder out of my trunk. I'm not sure what subs to go with yet, but my budget is about 100-150 per sub. I want a loud daily system, that gets loud without killing my pockets. I could probably squeeze 4 10s in there ported, but only about 3 12s. I'm not sure the advantage in cone area that the 6 HFI12s would have over the other 2 options, would be enough to overcome the fact that they would be sealed as opposed to ported

They can be had for a good price and depending on where you get the recones they will be cheaper also. You could possibly spend around $150 per subwoofer give or take depending on the size you build it to and the parts you chose.

I say you give ssackett a message or email, he has alot of subwoofers that will fit the bill.

Seriously though they are great sounding subs for the price. I do kind of wish I would have got sa 12's but I happy with what I have. Just need a new alt.
