3800 series II? any good?

i had that engine in my bonneville and it was a great engine. car had 160k when i sold it. no problems at all

mom has an impala with that engine. car has a 100k and no problems

my uncle works at the GM tech center and he said it was one of the better engines GM made. hence why we bought cars with the 3800's.

will it fit a 98 lumina 3.8L?

i asked what's the biggest alt, and he said 200amps.......

shoot me a pm of how much you wanna sell it

besides the intake gasket the 4t60e trany isin't worth a fuk... i've already replaced over 20 of them and hate it, espically with the gtp you have to take the cimplete subframe loose from underneath, its a pita and i hate it

My moms 3800 Lumina van went for 208,000 before a rod bearing went down. It did that because the oil never got changed.

She bought it at about 45,000 and I changed the oil the only time!
