I spoke to steve on the phone, yesterday when i ordered mine. He told me there the same as the old 3250s but upgraded with better cooling. And he actually tested it a .5 and it can handle it fine.

our amp can also accept 18v in and play daily at a half an ohm. It wouldnt do either on the first or second proto we received.

yeah and its cheaper. it looks shorter also. i think mine is 23" long?
