As far as subs go is there a major difference in sound between 2 ohms and 1 ohm?
I've seen some not be able to hear as high as 30% distortion especially when it comes to older Class D amplifiers that produce more clipped power than clean power. I always end up with a look on my face similar to this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif or //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and ask them if they honestly think their system sounds good.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gifThings you need to consider, the human ear cannot notice distortion up until about 3%. When talking about subwoofer frequencies, 20-80hz, it's often said that you cannot hear it up until around 10%.
No, it's not noticeable.
