3000 watts rms amp

Looking for an amp that will do at least 3000 watts rms. Already have the rest of the instal done, now just need an amp. Not too concerned about the cosmetics of the amp to a certain point. (Don't want something that looked like it barely survived the apocalypse) but not worried about some scratches or scuffs.

The amp will be pushing 3 JL 12W7s in a ported box built to JL specs

Budget: would love to find something around $300 shipped but willing to spend up to $600 shipped for the right

2- sets of 5.25 fosgate prime r152 2 ways (brand new never installed)

1-set of Focal Access 165 A1 (mid bass only)

1- set of Focal Access 130 CA1 5.25

1- Complete set of 5.25 Focal Utopia's (bass drivers, crossovers, and tweeters) have been repaired

1- set of Digital Designs CXS-6.5

1- set of Focal Access 165 CA1 (used but have original box)

2- 12" Alpine type r's model number 1243D

1- 10" JBL high excursion

1- 12" Fosgate R2

1- Fosgate Power T1500.1bd (scratched and I think the outputs are going out)

I had the same setup as you. I had my w7's hooked up to a mmats 3500.1. Thumped hard. Anyways looking to get rid of my amp. PM me if you are interested.

Sounds like your subs are wired in series instead of parallel.

I figured it should be around 1 ohm, I was told it could be the box design, creating a huge box rise.... I have never heard of it rising that much.

u need 3k@2?.I have Autotek mx5000 ~3k@2..or soundstream xxx6500d? Pm if interested

3 3ohm parallel is 1ohm. Series Parallel Speaker Impedance

They are wired parallel (all positive 2 positive and all negative 2 negative). I figured out my problem. It was my meter. I bought an expensive model used at a pawn shop a couple months ago when my original one went out. I guess it's been wrong since I had it because last night I bought a brand new one and I'm getting way better results. I did a 50-100hz sweep and my best tone played at 2.6 ohms after box rise. Tonight I will try a 20-100hz sweep and I'm guessing the results will be even better.
