3000 watts and stock alternator???

Well there is no way a 65 amp alt will power 3000WRMS. You'll need a 200 amp alternator, and two-three batteries. I know you said you have 5 batteries, but that's pointless cuz youre alt will never be able to power more then one. So get a 200 amp alt, and only use 2-3 batteries and you'll be fine.

Um, the batteries are for when it's off, really has nothing to do with the alt while the boat is running. Do you know wtf your talking about ?

rofl, people don't listen... They'll just keep shouting out numbers they make up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/chicken.gif.218ea7401db50d5e31a7e0b37e05e21e.gif
agreed! it don't matter what the math says. he's just gonna pull the last 235A out of his @ss.

dude Brian, you're still gonna go w/ the TDX's after you blew it to pieces?
oh, and maybe. i already have one so i was like just get another. but i am thinking about four treo ssx 10"s and my c2k 9.0. i think that would be kinda sick. we have to see how the ohm load works out. i think those things are only dual 2 ohm, i dont know. i just want somethin that my local shop will warrenty because as you know tyler, i like to break shit and blow stuff up (not intentionally) and you cant go out on the boat with no music for a week when your sub is being sent back.

Have you seen my avatar ?it stays at 13.8v and starts at 14.4v, i have no idea why

but when i turn on the A/C, front and back it drops down to 11v.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

and i pull over 450a from 1 amp.

LMAO, "5 o'clock free crack give away!!!"

Anyways, what's ur setup...i hope it isn't the one listed in ur sig lol....then i wouldn't see any reason for voltage drop at all. peace
