ok i have 300$ no more should i get a sx 12 or an sx 15? ive never heard an sx and i was wondering if it has allright sQ i want something louder than my 2 12" audiobahn 400rms subs and to sound better what do you think i need help quick

i just ordered a 15 inch SX and it was 315 shipped. It should be a louder sub from what i hear, but i will see when mine comes in the mail.

perfect match, had had 2 dinky audiobahn natural sound 400wattrms subs, when i got my SX 12 and built box for it and ran it off my new viper 1200.1 it was loud. 12 was enough for me. mine was 270 shipped to alabama.

i think im just gunna spend alittle more and go for the 12"xxx im only running 800rms off my soundstream vangoh but i figure it will pound allright

My very first sytem was 2 12' Audiobahn AW125T's. Like the lowest line they had. Now i have a Se 12 ported and it's way louder then both of those subs.. i used to have an L5 sealed awhile back and my SE is still louder. And a SX would blow that shit out of the water.

eaither will be fine. it all depends on the amp you are using and the room you have to play with.

let us know your space thats available and the amp (with a model number and links to specs) and we can narrow it down for ya

I think space should dictate that choice...I would go with the 15 if you have the space, if not then go with the 12. Both should have very similar response, the 15 will just be louder.

allright..first off i would like to ask.. if the sx is just as loud as the xxx cheaper and less power also it sounds as good why do people spend the extra money on the xxx what are the advantages ive heard they sound better but does it really make that big of a difference? also my amp is a soundstream van.goh 2 channel 800rms at 4 ohms bridged

Its not all about being louder. The xxx handles more power, has the xbl^2 motor, more xmax, and will sound better than a sx.

one more...on the RE website it tells you the XXX,s x-max of 32mm but what is the SX,s? i think im going to go with a XXX-12 but i was just wondering thanks.
