$300 budget for speakers

I've been doing some research but i still want to ask the question directly.

what's the best 6.5'' component speakers i can get for $300. All i want is really mellow/warm mids, and smooth/warm tweeters ( my ears get fatigued quick from harsh tweeters, so no bright tweets please).

so what do you guys suggest. please comment only if you have personally heard them

These are the best speakers I have heard in that price range. The average cost I heard is around $350 and the MSRP is something like $479.99, but I heard they can be found for a little bit less.

Checkout the Hertz HSK 165, or maybe even the ESK 165 for alot less.

Type X isn't close in my ears..... I've heard a lot of different sets and the Type X just isn't up to par in its price range.
