Hey guys,
I'm building my car audio system and this is what I have so far:
FRONT STAGE:
TWEETERS:
Image Dynamics XS28 (XS-28) 1" XS Series Silk Dome Tweeter
MIDBASS:
Dayton Audio RS180-4 7" Reference Woofer 4 Ohm 295-374
TWEETER&MIDBASS AMP:
SAX-125.4
MIDS:
FaitalPRO 4FE32 4" Neodymium Professional Woofer 4 Ohm 294-1120
MIDS AMP: (extra 2 channels for rear fill)
PRIME Amplifiers - R250X4 - Rockford Fosgate®
REAR:
REAR FILL:
Kicker 40CS654 6.5" CS-Series 300W Peak Coaxial Speakers
SUB:
Dayton Audio UM10-22 10" Ultimax DVC Subwoofer 2 ohms Per Co 295-510
SUB AMP:
Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.
My question is, would a 3Sixty.3 work as a 3 way crossover for these speakers? I understand they cant do "4 way", but could I do 3 way (high, midrange, midbass) and run the sub off the HU? Or would I need a 4 way electronic sound processor/crossover. If I did, would this one work or can you recommend a better one:
AudioControl 6XS (Gray) 6-channel electronic crossover with line driver at Crutchfield.com
Also, this build is still pretty new, so if you can recommend any better parts I'm open to listen. What would you change for this build? I'm still new to sound processors and crossovers, but from what I know, they would basically split up the sound into 3 or 4 outputs(highs, mids, midbass, sub and LR of course) and then you send it to the amplifier to amplify it then to the speakers? Do I have this right?
Thanks for all the help!
