I understand they cant do "4 way", but could I do 3 way (high, midrange, midbass) and run the sub off the HU? Or would I need a 4 way electronic sound processor/crossover. I'm still new to sound processors and crossovers, but from what I know, they would basically split up the sound into 3 or 4 outputs(highs,mids,midbass,sub and LR of course) and then you send it to the amplifier to amplify it then to the speakers?
