love the benz, I had a 240d in high school. Slow as hell but bullet proof and I never had to put gas in the thing. I gutted the package tray and the first aid kit to get sound in. If you dont port some kind of way, you wont here crap in that steel trunk and gas tank. I lost touch with a shop in North Carolina that does 350 swaps in 240 and 300d's. I always wanted to buy another just to do a swap in one. I have been asking on other benz forums but people remember them but dont have their info anymore.

Finally got a chance to work on her today.. since I'm going to be running about 2000 watts and a air compressor ill be upgrading my alternator and doing the big three.

Here's everything needed to do the upgrade.

Before pics.

Rust under the battery tray and on the battery tray.

Cleaned up and some rust killer

New 150amp bosch alternator next to the stock 40amp alternator

Factory postive wires going to the alternator

Ran all the zero gauge stinger wire.

All done and cleaned up and painted a few things.

Just waiting on my kicker battery terminals to come in the mail so I can finish

Did some sound deading today and worked on the trunk alittle.

Put the new wheels on and stretched some 195/40/17 on 17x8.. and finished the trunk.. still a few little things left like some interior work and puttin some spacers on the rear wheels.. here's some pics..
