(3) alpine type X subs

i am going to be powering 3 alpine type x 4 ohm subs. im trying to find the cheaperst way to power the 3 subs. should i do 2 amps? if so how many ohms should they be? or should i do 1 big amp? at how many ohms? let me know what u think? the subs are 1000 wrms each and 3000 watts max
