you can either wire them in series @ 2.67ohms or paralell @ 0.67ohms

If you are doing it yourself. You can carefully wire them to 2 amps. Something that will push them at like 600-800 watts each should do nicely.

thinking of selling 1 and powering 2 with an alpine mrd-m1005 any opinions?

its hard 2 say. look into an used viper 2500.1 that'd be ya best choice. or ya could save up some and get an used 2500d and run it @.67 and u will be lookin at some serious wang
