3 Alpine Type Rs???? Can 1 amp power them all?

Alright i am looking at buying 3 alpine type rs...

and would the Hifonics Bxi1608D be a good choice for these?

can it power all three of them to?

somewhat new to the audio world as you can tell

i don't think it will work well at .5 ohms, so no

I think it would... and no. You can daisy-chain the amps.

Yes.....

Get three of the dual 2ohm subs....wire them like this.....

You could do 3 amps if you would like. I would just wire them like I showed to a single Bxi1608D. Should get you about 1500 watts.

no dont buy a cap and do like the guy above u said get three dual twos and run them off one amp. id personally go with the hifonics 2008d for three type rs.

Stay away from a cap.....do "the big 3" (search the forum for a description of that) first, and if needed, upgrade your alternator and or add/replace batteries.

+1, I had a BXi2006D on 2 Type R's and they wanted more.

ive heard they blow the sub easily tho
