i never had one personally but according to these forums they can pretty much take 1k a piece and would laugh at 375 a piece..

I doubt it. I had R's, and they don't get moving too much with rated power. Once impedance rise takes effect, they're not going to be seeing much power at all.

The sub is gonna be in a 2.4 cubes tuned to 34Hz if that helps any.

i'd put one amp on each sub @ 1 ohm. box should be 2 cubes per sub, so 4 cubes net total and 34hz is good tuning. either way, as long as the gains are correct you wont have problems with to much power. i will be giving my type r 12's about 3000 watts a piece.
