2ohm Plate Amp?

I asked the tech support at eD if their plate amps would do 2 ohms, but they said it wouldn't be under warranty and would probably run too hot. However, I need an amp to power my two AA 8"s in my house (nothing fancy, I just want at least 250w to each of them). The only two places I know of that sells plate amps online (Parts Express and eD) only have 4 ohm to 8 ohm amps, none of them are rated below that.

Anyone know? I'd like to keep this under $300 as well, but the lower the better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I don't know of any that are rated for two ohms. I have run (and others as well) the class a/b plate amps (PE, Madisound, Rythmik, etc.) at two ohms and it did well as long as you don't push it hard. They will get warm though, so watch it. The class d/h and BASH plate amps (Oaudio, ED, some PE) are not rated that low and you would be risking trouble trying it.
