2ohm / 4ohm

I was reading my manuel for the P800.2 amp and it says it will give 400 watts at 2 ohm and 200 at 4 ohms. My question is how do you set it to give 2 ohms. Is it all in the sub you use or is there some special way of doing this. my sub is P2 15'' 250oms, 500max. thkz.

What is the ohm rating on your sub

single voicecoil 4 ohm

dual 4 ohm

dual 2 ohm

etc etc

dam i dont remember its svc for sure but i think its either 8 or 4. imma make sure..brb.

well we have to wait to see what you have. BEcause you only have one. You are gona have to run it at what your sub is, if you have 2 or more you can wire them up in several ways to get diffrent ohms.

yeah that is what i am tryin to figure out. how to wire them for different ohms. i am pretty sure dough it is 8 ohms.
