Pounding around town in the business section is one thing, when you are around houses with families and people you should show some class and respect for them. You are the exact reason why people think boomers are punks and trouble makers.

This, 100%. I only bump at stop lights when some bish highschool kid is bumpin his pawn shop subs thinking he's the *****. Gotta show em whats good.

Why is it dumb noobs get tickets with shotty systems? Then come here to.complain about it.

Pretty much, once you actually get loud the cops just want to look at it, and seemingly respect you for having done so much work. I've been asked to turn it down a couple of times, mostly because I screw up their computer systems.

Cops where i live are terrible. I've been pulled a bunch of times for my system. I have spent tons of money on the system in my truck, and i didnt buy all of it to just cruise down the road and not play it loud. IMO they should be worried about people getting killed, robbing places, drugs, ect. rather than pulling sum1 bc they have a loud system. Hell I have even gotten pulled bc the cop said my rims were so shiney that when the sun hits them it could cause an accident bc of the way the lite bounces off the chrome when the wheel spins. I've seen a couple people talk about respect, you gotta give respect before you recieve it and pulling me bc my wheels cause a brief "blindness" to other drivers on the road is BS.

In NYS having spinner rims is illegal because it causes distractions which lead into accidents. It also depends on the cop and the day they are having. Everyone of them came up to me while working on my house and greeted themselves and were very genuine. I made sure to warn them that it will eventually get loud at my house come close to comp time and told them what I did. They were all very happy to know in advance and said feel free to be as loud as I want whenever and even thought it was kind of cool. I made sure to guarantee them it wont ever happen late at night and they were more than happy with that. Whenever it comes to cops, as long as you don't drive like a d*ck and are not doing anything illegal, they cannot just pull you over for shiny rims. We have a point system they must follow in order to pull someone over unless it is for something drastic.

i think it's bc my truck stands out and looks "suspect" to them. Once they run my license and see i have no infractions under my name, they just tell me to "have a nice day."

yea but i think the cops need to venture to Gilpin court, Mosby court, Creighton court, Hillside court, Wickham court, and churchill for the drug dealers. The beat up cadillacs parked on the side of the road with the gang of people in it. That's the ones they need to focus on....Not a lonely guy driving in the boonies with a nice show vehicle.

that's how it should be lol but in the real world it will never happen like that. Hell go do a demo outside of southpark mall and see how quickly you get a ticket....cops around here pull you over just to see if they have probable cause to search your vehicle.

just one of the faults living around the metro richmond area.....thats why i just drive my car pretty much every day. Just keep my truck in the garage. Out of harms way
