If this amp is the same as the cactus 12k, which based off the images it is, then at MINIMUM i'd say it's good for 12k, if not more.
The opti series is very good stuff and usually conservatively rated.

Besides, i'd rather pay that much for an opti than for some banana and coffee bean filled amp that when it breaks takes a year to get fixed.

since the soundsream 15k is very similar to the cactus ele12

I clamped 6k at 6 ohms on my sounstream @ 15v, so imagine a nom of under 1 ohm!

interesting always thought the opti line was good just thought this had a odd ratting ... it is the opti 12,000 1d for i would assume it could do the rated 12k or prty close to it good info!

Opti is korean built unlike its china man built counterparts. There was some guts shots of this amp on caco........nvm

4100x2@2ohm typically is identical to 4ohm mono power (amp sees same technical impedance) but it somehow gains 5000 or so watts by being in 4ohm mono over 2ohm stereo....hhmmmm ....**** Koreans cant even make up numbers that mathematically add up for their garbage amps.. VERY VERY skeptical it is even an amplifier.. I think its either a bathtub or a clothes hanger or a blender...

Those SD's make good light shows.Don't know what else they can be used for though.

If it does 2 x 2400 watts @ 2 ohms stereo then it should do 4800 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms mono, but it's listed to do 13,000 watts @ 4 ohms mono. Maybe the specs are listed wrong?
